Current Vacancies

Play Leader

Applicants must have experience of working in a play based setting, preferably with children aged 4 – 11years.
Applicants must have confident skills and abilities in providing play opportunities through a wide range of activities i.e. creative arts and Crafts, cookery music/drama and indoor/outdoor sports. It is important that the post holder has a cheerful personality, teamwork skills, communicates and works well with children, parents and partner oragnisation.
Applicants will be expected to have NVQ level 2 or 3 Play work / Childcare or an equivalent qualification and understanding the issues of equal opportunities.
HOURS: Breakfast Club : 7-9am , Afterschool Club: 3-6pm, Holiday Club: 9am – 6pm ( Up to 40 hours weekly during holiday period)
Starting Salary: from £8 per hour

Holiday Play Scheme Manager

Required to work half term and Summer holidays
Applicants must have experience of running Holiday Play Scheme or similar play environment, preferably with children aged 4 – 11 years. Applicants must experience in management and have confident skills and abilities in providing play opportunities through a wide range of activities i.e. creative arts and Crafts, cookery music/drama and indoor/outdoor sports. It is important that the post holder has a cheerful personality, teamwork skills, communicates and works well with children, parents and partner organisation. Applicants will be expected to have NVQ 2 / NVQ 3 in Play Work, Childcare or an equivalent qualification and understanding the issues of equal opportunities.
Starting Salary: £8.50 per hour – 40 hour week.

Play worker

Applicants must experience of working with 4 to 11 year olds and appropriate Childcare training or qualification. Applicants must be able to provide and facilitate safe and creative play through a wide range of activities i.e. creative arts and Crafts, cookery music/drama and indoor/outdoor sports. Applicants good communication skills , demonstrate ability to work as a team member and ability to work on own initiative.
Starting Salary: from £8 per hour
